Racing Highs: First win - My third ever race, which was in the 1990 BRSCC Toyo Tyres Super Road Saloon Championship, and then winning the up to 1300cc class in 1991. Taking a "new" car to 2nd place out of 32 runners in the BRSCC Winter Saloons race at Silverstone in the rain in 1995 after sitting the entire season.

Racing Lows: Being denied my first overall race win by a misfire at Castle Combe in the 1993 BRSCC Toyo Tyres Super Road Saloons, and then a spate of engine blow-ups over the next few years. Destroying the car in the first corner of the first round of the 1995 BRSCC Toyo Tyres Super Road Saloon Championship and having to sit out the whole season while I re-shell the car.

Most recent racing experience : BARC Toyo Tyres Modified Production Saloons Championship

Championship Wins: 1991 BRSCC Toyo Tyres Super Road Saloon Car Championship - Class D (up to 1400cc)

I have worked from time to time as an freelance instructor at Silverstone Drive since 1999, allowing me to pass on my skills and knowledge. I was also accepted by the Thruxton Racing School in 2002. Instructing allows me to learn more as I work with drivers of the highest standard in the sport today, benefitting from their knowledge to improve my own performance on-track. I used to be the track tester & trackday instructor for Redline Magazine, but these days, the only track's they're interested in are recorded on Dance music CD's!

Hobbies & Interests: Amateur Radio: I am chairman of the Cambridgeshire Repeater Group, and the Membership Liaison Officer of the Radio Society of Great Britain Data Communications Committee, Countryside Pursuits: No, not rambling! Clay Pigeon Shooting, HUNTING (it's countryside, not CITY - so Townies keep your own affairs to yourself, do I tell you that you can't go clubbing, take illegal drugs, drive your cars while drunk, no. So don't tell me what I can't do in MY countryside - it's not YOURS) [as you can tell, I do feel rather strongly about it!] etc..., Home Brewing, Photography (mostly digital), Guitar thrashing, Mandolin molesting. My prize possession is my double neck SG (12string and 6 string all in one!).

This website is still growing, so please come back soon and keep up with the progress.
