I have worked
from time to time as an freelance instructor at
Silverstone Drive since 1999, allowing me to pass on my skills and
knowledge. I was also accepted by the Thruxton Racing School in 2002.
Instructing allows me to learn more as I work with drivers of the
highest standard in the sport today, benefitting from their knowledge
to improve my own performance on-track. I used to be the track tester
& trackday instructor for Redline Magazine, but these days, the
only track's they're interested in are recorded on Dance music CD's!
Hobbies &
Interests: Amateur Radio: I am chairman of the
Cambridgeshire Repeater Group, and the Membership Liaison Officer of
the Radio Society of Great Britain Data Communications Committee,
Countryside Pursuits: No, not rambling! Clay Pigeon Shooting, HUNTING
(it's countryside, not CITY - so Townies keep your own affairs to
yourself, do I tell you that you can't go clubbing, take illegal drugs,
drive your cars while drunk, no. So don't tell me what I can't do in MY
countryside - it's not YOURS) [as you can tell, I do feel rather
strongly about it!] etc...,
Home Brewing, Photography (mostly digital), Guitar thrashing, Mandolin
molesting. My prize possession is my double neck SG (12string and 6 string all in one!).
